It’s that time of year!

A time of camaraderie!  Of feasting!  Of pretzels!  And especially… of beer!  Oktoberfest – one of the best parts of the autumn season.  ^_^

It’s particularly awesome this year because it’ll be my first year participating (in this case, just helping things to run smoothly) in La Mano’s annual Oktoberfest party.  This party is an opportunity for students, studio potters, and the owners to present their work to the public whilst having a grand ol’ time celebrating the Fall!  The La Mano community of artists is encouraged to create mugs, steins, and cups for the event and patrons can come, buy a vessel, and fill it to the brim with beer.  Sweet deal!  Supporting the arts while enjoying some of the finer brews available!

Come on out next Friday, October 14th (drop in any time between 6:00pm and 9:00pm) to support the La Mano community – even if you’re just coming to look, we’d love to have you!

Due to my incredibly hectic schedule, I won’t have any mugs for this show (sad face!), but I would appreciate anyone coming to the studio to show some love to our studio potters and students, who work incredibly hard at what they do and are all amazing!  Seriously, seriously cool stuff coming out of La Mano – come show them some love!

Spread the word, chickadees!

About SacredSpiralPottery

I am a novice potter who was blessedly introduced to clay in January of 2011. I've become totally addicted to mud and all of its amazing properties, and spend a good deal of time working on my own projects and helping out at a small private studio in Jersey City.
